Our story

Jesse Truax and Ben Jordan met at Park High School in Cottage Grove. By the time they graduated they already knew they wanted to start a painting company together, and Fresh Coat Solutions followed not long after. They still do the work themselves on nearly every job, which is why you will see both of their names turn up in the reviews.

Most of what we take on is exterior work: siding, trim, soffits and fascia, plus deck and fence staining. A fair amount of it is repair as much as paint. Patching rot and replacing damaged boards before anything gets a finish coat is slower, but paint over bad wood is just a longer way of doing the job twice.
